About Christopher
Christopher has lived in Arizona his entire life, including many spent right here in Canyon Trails. He has worked in the Justice Court system for nine years, first running the Warrant Reduction Program in the North West Regional Court center and the last four as the Arrowhead elected Constable.
Public service in the Constable's office is a family tradition: his father and his uncle both served as elected Constables before him, and together the Sumner family has been part of the office for more than thirty years. He is now seeking the office of Justice of the Peace to continue that service as Judge.
How to write me in
Write-in voting rules vary by county and by ballot format. The steps below describe the general process — confirm the exact mechanics for Canyon Trails against your official sample ballot before you vote.
Find the Justice of the Peace race
Locate the Justice of the Peace, Canyon Trails Precinct contest on your ballot.
Use the write-in line
Look for a blank line below the listed candidates, usually labeled “write-in.” Print Christopher Sumner's name clearly on that line.
Fill in the bubble next to it
On most ballots, writing the name alone is not enough — you must also fill in the oval or bubble beside the write-in line for the vote to count.
Double-check before you submit
Review that the name is legible and the bubble is filled, then cast your ballot as usual.
